Reiki sessions prior to delivery last anywhere from 25 minutes to 45 minutes, for optimal comfort. Postpartum Reiki sessions can last longer, if desired. Reiki treatments can be scheduled for labor as well. If labor Reiki is preferred, it is recommended that at least 2 Reiki sessions be scheduled before labor in order to become familiar with the process so it can be an effortless part of your labor.
